What is the purpose of Game Design?
Video games, as you may know, is the most widely used pastime in the world. Approximately 1.8 billion people in the world play video games. You may not know this, but scientists have proved in studies that hard-core action games improve eye-hand coordination, and also improve reaction timing. Video games also help some students and scientists with problem solving and stress.
At Madison, the students are offered a Game Programming and design class that teaches the student the basics of the design and construction of the video games that an average person uses every day. They are taught both team-working skills and individual work skills.
